3D MEASUREMENT
TABLE

This measurement system allows the user to
measure objects with a precision of 0.5mm. The
system has a measurement size of 1400x750mm,
and have two measurement modes: point 2 point
and drag (that allows the measurement of round
areas).

System parts:

– IR pen: human interface to machine
– two NIR cameras: allow to detect IR Pen position in 3D space (by stereoscopic vision)
– one color camera: is used to record a proof of the measurement (photo and video)

Enhanced Operations:

– SUM: group tougher a couple of measures (Point-2-Point or drag)
– PHOTO: take photo to report a problem
– REFERENCE: allow to measure a reference distance to measure
– COMPARE: compare to dimensions and return the difference
